The eligibility criteria for getting admission in NIT Trichy is:
Applicants should be graduates in any discipline from a recognised university or institute. In order to be eligible for taking the CAT, you must have at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.
You have a decent profile with the good academic score but your CAT score seems to be a little low for getting a call. CAT cut off for a general category student is around 90 percentile being a non-engineer it drops to around 85 percentile. And being an SC category student it drops down around 70 percentile.
