The eligibility criteria for getting admission in NIT Trichy is:
Applicants should be graduates in any discipline from a recognised university or institute. In order to be eligible for taking the CAT, you must have at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.
You have a decent profile with the good academic score but your CAT score seems to be a little low for getting a call. CAT cut off for a general category student is around 90 percentile being a non-engineer it drops to around 85 percentile. And being an SC category student it drops down around 70 percentile. This percentile for your category is just based on few records and assumptions. I will recommend you to still apply to this college.
