Hello there,

Hope you are doing well. See, the cutoffs this year are expected to be somewhat similar to last year's or may increase marginally. Last year the closing AIR for a government medical college through All India quota counselling was 96,390 i.e. a score of around 485+ for an SC category candidate.

So, from the above data your chances of getting a government medical seat through AIQ counselling seem nil. You atleast needed to score 500 marks in order to safely land into a government medical college.

Now, from your profile I see that you belong from Telengana ,so I'll mention the cutoff score and closing AIR of Telengana through Telengana state counselling in 2020.

It was a score of 528 with a closing AIR of 64,313 for the local category and a score of 535 with a closing AIR of 59,060 for the non-local category.

So from the above data, getting a college through Telengana state quota counselling aslo won't be possible for you.

You can however try for government dental seats both through AIQ and state quota counselling. You have high chances of grabbing one . And you can also try for other courses like Ayush or BVSc. However for MBBS,you'll have to opt for private colleges or management quota seats.

You can have details of the colleges you can get into based on your NEET AIR and category both through AIQ and SQ of your state  from the link given below :

Hello aspirant,

I hope that you are doing absolutely great.

With reference to your above mentioned query, i would like to tell you that with the above rank scored by you in NEET UG the chances for you to get any seat in medical government colleges is very less as your rank is likely to be less. The cutoff varies every year for NEET UG and is different for different category students as it depends upon several factors like difficulty level of the paper, previous year cutoff trends, number of aspirants giving the exam etc.

Howeve, looking at your marks in NEET UG and rank and looking at the previous year cutoff trends you have chances to get a seat in following private colleges from harayana :

  • Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University, Gurgaon.
  • SGT Medical College Hospital and Research Institute, Gurgaon.
  • Maharaja Agrasen Medical College, Agroha.
  • Adesh Medical College and Hospital, Kurukshetra.
  • Faculty of Dental Sciences, SGT University, Gurgaon.

Further, follow the below NEET UG college predictor tool to know more about various colleges based on your rank and score :

Dear aspirant,

Hi aspirant,

It is difficult to predict because cut-offs changes from year to year and depends on many factors like

>>>Difficulty level of NEET PG exam

>>>Number of seats available

>>>Number of students appeared in NEET PG exam

>>>Category of the student

You might try for Management quota seat in good Private Medical Colleges because you have less chances of getting counselling seat in good Private Medical Colleges based on previous year's cut-offs for your NEET PG Rank.

To check the possibility of getting Pathology seat you can use College Predictor Tool which is given below.

You can go through below mentioned article related to NEET PG cut-offs.

To predict Colleges based on your NEET PG score using below mentioned College Predictor Tool.
