------------) number of students that appeared in the neet exam,

------------) kind of marks obtained by them ,

------------)  toughness level of the neet examination

------------)  number of seats available

------------) the category you are from etc

Anyway,

when we go through previous year trends

>>>>>> With 1.54 lakh rank

You have low chances for mbbs in government colleges

Even for Government quota seat in private medical colleges your chances are low.

But yes,

You have chances in deemed universities for mbbs which are listed below :-

----------) BVDU Medical College and Hospital, Sangli

----------) Saveetha Medical College, Chennai

----------) Dr. DYP Edu. Soc. Deemed Uni., Kolhapur

Thank you.

Hello,

NEET 2021 results have been declared by the National Testing Agency NTA.

To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-

• General /EWS- 50th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile

• General-PwD - 45th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile

Marks wise cut off is as following-

• General - 720-138

• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108

• Gen PwD - 137-122

• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs have increased compared to last year.

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year.

It would have been helpful for us to answer more precisely had you mentioned your marks instead of rank, as college cut off is decided on the bais of marks and not ranks. With 63K rank, I expect you are scoring around 528 marks. So here is a list of few colleges that you can get admission in -

• Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Medical College, Bangalore

• Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore

• M.S.Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore

• Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeswara Medical College, Mysore

• Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences, Mandya

• Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences, Hassan

• Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum

• Belgaum Institute of Medical Sciences, Belgaum

• Kasturba Medical College, Hampanakatta,Mangalore

Thank you.

Hello,

Yes category rank plays a very important role during counseling. It decides your merit both during the state counseling and the All India Quota Counseling.

Reservation for candidates is provided by the government, so category rank ensures your merit for reservation within candidates of your category.

Following are the reservation that are given to the candidates of various categories-

• 10% seat reservation for GEN-EWS candidates, (candidates whose family income is less than Rs 8 Lakh per annum)

• 15% seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste(SC) Students.

• 7.5% seats are reserved for Scheduled Tribe (ST) students.

27% seats are reserved for OBC-NCL candidates only in colleges run by central government.

• 5% of seats are reserved for Person with Disability PwD. This is a horizontal reservation which means that 5% of all seats reserved for various categories are reserved for candidates with disability from that category.

Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing well. There is little chance for you to get government seat for mbbs with 421 marks. In sc category you need score 450+ in 85% state quota.
Since you didn't mention the name of your state it is difficult to predict college.
