There are 4 central government institutions and around 9 govt aided or autonomous engineering colleges in Madhya Pradesh.
Admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate engineering programmes are based on an entrance exam performance.
In MP, the government engineering colleges consider the national level entrance exam JEE for admission in engineering streams. The state government also conducts the MP BE Counselling every year for candidates belonging to MP only but this is also based on the JEE(Main) scores and the class12 marks. There is no other state-sponsored engineering entrance test conducted in MP.

Most of the state level entrance exams offers admission to only the residentials of same state. But most of the entrance exams of state level have a 10 to 15% quota for the students of other state. As some of the exams are WBJEE, in which 10% students can get admission by JEE score in WB. HPCET, to get admission in Himachal pradesh technical university. MHTCET to get admission in maharashtra colleges, KEAM for kerala, JAC for chandigarh and there are many more. Govt colleges like DTU and NSIT consider JEE Mains marks to provide admission. But they have their separate counselling and it is held separately through JAC Delhi. For eligibility you must have secured at least 60% aggregate marks or more in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. So, you can apply to these colleges. there is no definite answer to your question as govt have its own policies and no such transparency but i would suggest you to go through this artical and many more like this you will found that most of the govt. colleges charge rs 60000/year only

Rank required: If you are aspiring for top NITs, your rank should be less than 10,000. However, newer NITs accept candidates who are above 50,000 rank in JEE Main. It also depends on the reservation policy of the respective institute.

E very pathetic you will not see any good infrastructure in this college so forget about anything that you planning to have in this college so forget about anything sports interest they do not have any sports around and that's not talk about infrastructure
College infrastructure is quite good here, with all modern equipment available, wifi , smart board all facilities are available, they are well maintained as well, food is hygenic and good, classroom are good.
