Hello,

There are 4 central government institutions and around 9 govt aided or autonomous engineering colleges in Madhya Pradesh.

Admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate engineering  programmes are  based on an entrance exam performance.

In MP, the government engineering colleges consider the national level entrance exam JEE for admission in engineering streams. The state government also conducts the MP BE Counselling every year for candidates belonging to MP only but this is also based on the JEE(Main) scores and the class12 marks.  There is no other state-sponsored engineering entrance test conducted in MP.

Below I will share with you a link where you will get a list of the top Government Engineering colleges in MP. You will get the ranking and Information and brochure of each of the college:

Good Luck

Hey!

Most of the state level entrance exams offers admission to only the residentials of same state. But most of the entrance exams of state level have a 10 to 15% quota for the students of other state. As some of the exams are WBJEE, in which 10% students can get admission by JEE score in WB.  HPCET, to get admission in Himachal pradesh technical university. MHTCET to get admission in maharashtra colleges, KEAM for kerala, JAC for chandigarh and there are many more. You can also give university level entrance exams to get admission in a particular university. You can check some of state level exams here:

Dear Student,

Govt colleges like  DTU and NSIT consider JEE Mains marks to provide admission.  But they have their separate counselling and it is held separately through JAC Delhi.  For eligibility you must have secured at least 60% aggregate marks or more in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. So, you can apply to these colleges. And these are one of the best colleges in engineering. Fro more info visit the links provided below.

Nice college

College Infrastructure

My college is spread across a 300-acre campus, and the size itself becomes a major advantage for any technical institute. The large area allows proper separation of academic blocks, hostels, laboratories, and sports facilities without overcrowding or noise interference. The engineering blocks are equipped with standard labs, updated machinery, and the basic infrastructure required for practical learning. The spacious classrooms, projectors, and decent internet connectivity support day-to-day academic work, although the efficiency ultimately depends on how seriously students and faculty use them. A campus of this scale lets the institute maintain multiple workshops, research spaces, and departmental buildings, which is useful in engineering education where practical exposure is non-negotiable. The library has enough room to store a wide range of books and digital resources and provides a quiet space for focused study. Sports grounds, indoor game areas, and open fields give students breathing space and encourage physical activity instead of being stuck in cramped buildings.

It's good
