Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering for Women, Visakhapatnam Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering for Women has a number of departmental Laboratories which are equipped with sophisticated tools and equipment. For carrying out the Internet of Things based projects, an IoT Lab has been established in the college. 

The college provides Hostel facility to the Girls students. The Hostel Rooms are spacious, well ventilated and are well furnished with Bed, Study Table and Chair.  

The college has a Canteen which serves healthy and nutritious food and snacks to the faculty members and the students at reasonable prices.  

GVP College of Engineering for Women, Visakhapatnam has a fleet of 6 buses and has 2 vehicles which helps the students and the staff members to commute from one place to another place. 

The college has a fully Air Conditioned Auditorium which has a seating capacity of approximately 400 people. The college also has a Seminar Hall. The Auditorium and Seminar Hall are equipped with various Audio Visual equipment. 

GVP College of Engineering for Women has a Gymnasium in the college campus which is equipped with modern exercise equipment and machines. 

Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering for Women, Visakhapatnam has outdoor sports facilities such as the Volleyball Court, Badminton Court and Throw Ball Court and has provision for various indoor games and sports such as Chess, Carrom and Table Tennis.  

GVPCEW Visakhapatnam has a Computer Centre which has a seating capacity of approximately 70 people. The college has a number of Smart Classrooms. The students are provided with the Internet access through 2 dedicated OFC leased lines. One leased line is of 40 Mbps capacity and the other leased line is of 100 Mbps capacity. A dedicated 10 Mbps leased line is provided for the Library. 

The college has a Library which has a rich collection of Books, National and International Journals and Periodicals in the field of Engineering and related subjects. The college also has a Digital Library. The college Library has a Reading Room which has a seating capacity of approximately 150 people. 

Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering for Women, Visakhapatnam provides First Aid facility and other Medical Assistance to the staff members and the students during the time of medical emergency.
