College is modern and well-maintained campus with a good balance of academics and student life. The classrooms are clean, properly ventilated, and equipped with projectors for better teaching. Labs in every department are updated with the required tools, and computer labs provide high-speed internet and advanced systems for coding and research. The library is huge, with thousands of books, journals, and online learning platforms. The campus also has sports courts, cultural activity spaces, and a spacious auditorium for seminars and fests.
My department teachers are good at breaking down concepts into simpler explanations, making even difficult subjects easier to understand. They also encourage students to ask questions in class and offer extra help whenever needed. Faculty members guide students in academic projects, mini-research work, and help them prepare for exams and placements. Many teachers are also active in research and keep updating their teaching methods with new technologies.
College placenents are considered one of the strongest points of the college. The training and placement cell works actively to prepare students with coding practice, aptitude tests, and mock interviews. Many reputed companies like Infosys, TCS, Deloitte, Accenture, Amazon, Capgemini, and Tech Mahindra visit the campus. Campus life is peaceful and organized. While cultural fests and technical events like Pulse, Pragnya, and TEDx-GRIET are held, the number of large-scale fests is fewer compared to some other colleges. The campus environment is disciplined, with dress codes and mobile usage restrictions, which some students like for focus, while others find too strict. The campus is pleasant
GRIET is best suited for students who want a focused, disciplined environment with strong academics and placements. It may feel a little strict in terms of rules, but it truly prepares students for the corporate world.
