The Government College of Engineering, Chandrapur placement, and training cell is responsible for handling all the placement-related activities on the campus. The students at GCOEC are given Placement opportunities through both the On-campus and Off-campus Placement drives. According to the NIRF Report for the batch 2022, out of 365 graduating UG students, 200 students were placed with the GCE Chandrapur median salary of Rs. 2.50 LPA.

The Training and Placement Cell of Government College of Engineering, Chandrapur organises Soft Skill Training programmes to improve the communication, technical, and practical skills of the students. The GCE Chandrapur placement cell also organises Guest Lectures series and industrial Visits for the students.

There are very few companies came Tata was the one of the first company came for the job opportunities and then very few of the companies came here for placement. So in this college there's not much of placement camp
