Congrats on your TANCET rank. The college in which you might get admission is based on the category you belong. If you belong to General Category it will be difficult for you to get admission in GCT, Coimbatore. If you belong to any other category you have chance of getting in to GCT, Coimbatore. This suggestion is based on previous years numbers.

Hello Shalini, you have a pretty good score in TANCET, this much of marks makes you eligible for most of the college or I will say all the college under it. Now taking CEG campus, as per last year's cutoff for open category the cutoff for it is 64 but as they keep in changing so you have 75% chance of getting into it. Goodluck.

The counselling will start from the end of July or from 3rd week of July,

TANCET exam date 2019 June 22 and 23, 2019

TANCET registration begins from May 8, 2019

Last date of registration May 31, 2019

Issue of TANCET Hall Ticket June 15, 2019

Declaration of TANCET result July 5, 2019

TANCET Counselling begins from July 2019

Based on the rank you have obtained you might have a chances to get admission. So don't lose your hope and make sure to apply for the counselling rounds. Apply and appear for the counselling session as you have a chance to get admission in many of the best colleges.

By refering your TNEA and community rank you will get placed in KCT or CIT for both Computer science and engineering and electonics and communication engineering.But as far as in PSG and GCT you have slight chance to get placed in those colleges.

My friend Thraun, you get not very bad Rank. so, don't need to be a worry. you have a good possibility that you may clear GCT, Coimbatore but it bit more difficult than you  may clear in the first round may be in a second round your chances increase and you may get admission because of you are eligible in a study such a good college.
