Since it is a deemed institution,there is a separate entrance examination conducted by the University every year.So I had to appear for the entrance test based on the merit,I was given the branch"Electronics and Instrumentation" which I am pursuing now.since I wished to choose any branch in Electronics and as I got the same,I opted this branch.As the institution has a very good reputation,I preferred this University.

congratulations for you rnak . there are chnces of getting admission on the basis of your normalized score. as well as yuo belong to bc categor. tehre are chnces of getting admission in any of these uiversity. all the best.

Hi, as per past year cutoffs, basis your rank, you can get through pvt colleges only. GCT coimbatore had around 50 cutoff last year for OC. All the best, check the different pvt colleges.

You might have misunderstood the concept of the cutoff. The cutoff is decided by the institute, not the individual. Regarding admission please let us know the exam you appeared in rank you achieved and category you belong to.

GCT, Coimbatore GCE, Tirunelveli GCE, Salem GCE, Bargur Thanthai Periyar, Vellore IRTT, Erode University Departments, Trichy are few of the govt. colleges.

With 39.33 are your normalised score, your expected rank lies between 2501-3000.

It would be difficult to get a govt. college and there are less chances.
