IGIT Sarang is a very reputed college of India, in which securing seat is a little bit defficult. I am so sorry to say that you won't be able to get a seat in IGIT Sarabg with the above rank you mentioned.

You are right you should have recieved a seat in the colleges mentioned above as per previous year trends and having a high branch rank, you seat should have been guranteed. Here's two things you can check.

Check the preference list you have uploaded( if ojee counselling had one) and check the priority order if burla and cet are at the top

Secondly wait for round 2 as there will be certain candidates leaving for a better seat or altogether forfeiting their seat to the colleges. This year the two colleges might have had a higher student demand rate than last year. See all predictions done are based on what happened last year and expecting 90% of the same to happen this year. So i suggest you follow both the steps and you will get electrical department.

Well i see that you have got quite a good rank in ojee pgat. Which is 1173 in general category. And you want to join civil engineering . Or say not exactly civil bbut some specialization of civil branch, like geotechnical , structural, water resource engineering etc. Considering you rank i can say that yu have possibility of getting in both the colleges which you have mentioned . CET Bhubaneshwar and IGIT Sarang.

Well what you are saying is that you have got 1205558 rank in 2nd odisha jee. And i guess that you want to join igit sarang college. Well what i know is that the rank which you have is very very high. With this rank i don't think that it is possible to get a good government college. So you better try for oother private colleges.

• Document verification : 2nd to 3rd August, 2019
• Display of final allottment & surrender of vacant seats : 5th August, 2019

As you mentioned here that you are getting mechanical branch in igit sarang in ojee counselling and you are comparing it with CSE branch of sambalpur university of information technology.

We can't compare two different branches of two different college.  Because it totally depends on your interest that in which branch you are actually interested.

If you are interested in mechanical then igit sarang is best choice for you.
