You need to get marks above 70 (Estimated Score + Board Weightage) to get a rank below 5000 for Engineering  and 75 above marks  for agricultural stream. It may vary based on the thoughness of the examination and students participation also.

As you know apeamcet is entrance exam for students to do there engineering ,so many students write every year and there is high competition also and getting rank below 10000 also depends on other's if they score more then you ,then your rank also varies so
