Hello Gaurav
Hope you are doing well!! See your rank is bit high to get you into any government colleges under CEE. If you belong to any reserved category then kindly specify in comment section. As ASTU have released the merit list and according to the merit list if you belong to general category you are not eligible in 1st phase of counseling. And if you don't belong to any reserved category then you can go for private colleges. Hope these helped you. If you have any queries regarding these then feel free to ask in comment section.
Good luck.

Hi aspirant

As you have secured 1056 rank in CEE 2019 so it's a bit difficult for you to makeoma to AEC, because generally AEC has a high cutoff score required for admission.

But definitely you do have chances to get a seat in JEC.

So, I would advice you to go for the counseling process and look for the college which suits you best

Hello Shravana
First of all congratulations on securing a very good rank in CEE exam. As ASTU have released the merit list and the counseling process will be starting from 10th of june. And regarding your query you can get both Assam Engineering college (AEC) and Jorhat engineering college (JEC) no matter if you belong to general category your rank is enough to get you into this college. Hope these helped you.
All the best.

Hello Imadul
Hope you are doing well!! See as Assam Engineering college (AEC) is counted in the top of the colleges under CEE and the branch you want to persue is computer science engineering is bit tough to get in AEC, as there are only 20 seats in AEC of that branch. And as you belong to general category and your rank is little bit high to get CSE branch in AEC. But you can get Jorhat engineering college (JEC) with your preferable branch. Hope these helped you. Be prepared for counseling as it is starting from 10th of june.
Good luck.

Hello Segal
First of all congratulations on securing a very good rank in CEE exam. As ASTU have released the merit list and as per your rank you will be able to get both Assam Engineering college (AEC) and Jorhat engineering college (JEC). And regarding your branch there might be some toughness to get civil branch in AEC but you can definitely get civil branch in JEC. As per previous year cut off with this rank you can get AEC but it may vary depending on the choice filling of other students. Hope these helped you.
Good luck.

Hi aspirant
As you may be knowing that  the Assam CEE counseling will be on June before jEE counselling.
Now as you have secured 168 marks(483 rank in general category), so you do have chances to get CSE in JEC.
Also, you can even get a seat in AEC, however your chances are a bit low there but there is some probability too.
But ofcurse you will be able to make it to JEC.
So, I would advice you to go for the counseling process and look for the branch and college which suits you accordingly.

  • 10th marksheet /passing certificate
  • 12th marksheet
  • Domicile Certificate and /or AADHAR card
  • REAP allotment letter
  • Relevant Caste certificate

I hope it will help you.

Have a nice day!

Hello Sarbong
Sorry to say but your rank is bit high to get you into these college. As you belong to St (h) category then also it will become much tough to get you into those colleges. Assam Engineering college (AEC) and Jorhat engineering college (JEC)  are counted as top colleges under CEE. To get those colleges you also need to be in the top. But don't lose hope you may get other colleges under CEE like Barak valley engineering college, Bineswar brahma engineering college (BBEC) etc. Participate in the counseling and se which college you can get. Hope it helped you.
Good luck.

Hi aspirant
As you have secured 60 marks(3656 rank  ) in Assam CEE 2019 (belonging to SC category) which in itself is not much good enough.
So, definitely you won't be able to make it to AEC.
Since your rank secured doesn't meetup with the required rank to get admitted in AEC.
Also, AEC is one of the best college under CEE Assam so usually there is a huge competition to get in there.
However, You might be eligible for JEC .
So, I would advise you to participate in the counseling process and look for the college which suits you best.

Aparna,

If you've domicile then, congratulations; you're eligible for a seat in any branch of Jabalpur Engineering College.
