First of all congratulations on securing good rank in CEE exam. As per previous year cut off and as per your rank you can get mechanical engineering in Jorhat engineering college (JEC). Make documents ready for verification as they will start counseling from 1st week of July (tentative). Hope it helped you.

See your rank is bit high to get you a seat in Assam Engineering college (AEC) but you can get Jorhat engineering college (JEC) or Jorhat institute of science and technology (JIST). Regarding branches in JEC you can get electrical engineering, civil engineering or instrumental engineering. Hope it helped you.

As per your rank you can get Jorhat engineering college (JEC) or Jorhat institute of science and technology (JIST). You may not get computer science rather than that you can get other branches. Hope it helped you.

Hello...I secured 131 marks on assam cee 2019 and my rank is 948. Will I get aec or jec...If yes then which branch is probably possible??

Since your rank is 948 it's quite difficult for you to get a seat in AEC.
There is very low chance that you get admitted in AEC, but surely no chance for mech,electrical, EC, branch . You might get seat in CIVIL or C.S. but probability is very low.
But definitely you will make to JEC

With that rank you may get admitted to Jorhat engineering college (JEC) or Jorhat institute of science and technology (JIST). But you may not get desired branch on Jorhat engineering college (JEC) and with that rank you will not get seat in Assam Engineering college (AEC). Hope it helped you.

As per your rank you will not get Assam Engineering college (AEC) as your rank is bit higher to get AEC. But you may get Jorhat engineering college (JEC) but you may not get much branch option there or else you can go with Jorhat Institute of science and technology (JIST) there you will be having more branch option. Your rank is bit high to get admission in Assam Engineering college (AEC) or Jorhat engineering college (JEC). You may get other colleges that come under CEE. You can check Jorhat Institute of science and technology (JIST), Barak valley engineering college or other colleges like Guwahati down town University. Hope it helped you.

My rank in CEE 2019 is 2087.I belong to OBC category. Any possibility of getting admission in JEC/AEC?

So with a rank of 2087 you probably might have secured 86 marks .

So there are 315 in jorhat engineering college . It is one among the top 3 colleges linked to assam cee along with AEC .Students who score more than 120 marks will definitely get admission into the top 3 engineering colleges in Assam . The cut -off marks in various Government engineering colleges were :

Assam engineering college: 112

Jorhat engineering college : 105

Dibrugarh university: 106

The cut -offs for the year 2017 to various engineering colleges were :

Assam engineering college : 130

Jorhat engineering college: 120

The cut offs for 2019 are :

AEC - 130

JEC - 120

Though your marks are below the said cut off , since you belong to the OBC category , you have a fair chance to get a seat in aec and jec . But it will vary according to the number of students who are in the OBC category seeking admission there . But most probably you will get admission

1. Assam Engineering College

2. Jaipur Engineering college

through your rank as you belong to ST category and have clearly secured the required marks criteria.

College Infrastructure

Smartboard is not there.lift is only for faculty not for students. Girls are very less in the college.Co-curricular activity is also not organised.They are not maintaining good lecturer who is efficient in their subjects.Sqme faculty teaching each & every subject

Overall I had really good experience in JEC

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of my college is good. It has a well-stocked library, computer lab, auditorium, transportation facility, campus with internet facility,Canteen but it requires good management. I made many new friends, they help me a lot even my seniors are also very much corporative or you can say there is a friendly environment.All in All its good.

College Infrastructure

Required facilities and equipments were there but little maintenance needed. Sports department was fine. IT infrastructure was bit outdated but students managed somehow. Mechanical engineering department was good, rest of them were average.
