Hostel facility is available in Jorhat Engineering college 2 and 3 . There are separate hostels for Girls and Boys. Hostel charges are 6000/ year. Hostels rooms are good with good hygiene. Meal is good and non food is provided twice a week. Running water facility almost full

JEC is better that MITS because there are a number of reason's I am listing below:

1) JEC has better infrastructure than MITS.

2) Jabalpur is nicer to live than that of Gwalior.

3) JEC have a great number of alumni excelling in the different fields.
