Hello,

Your expected rank will be around 67577.You can calculate your expected rank by the formula (100-your total percentile)*869010/100

where 869010 is the total number of candidates appeared in January session. It is expected that 1200000 candidates may appear in APRIL Session so the expected rank can be calculated using the formula
(100-your total percentile)*1200000/100

In 2019 the cut off was as follows for JEC, Jabalpur in round 1 for home state General category candidates
branch wise
  • Civil engineering: 66843-93507
  • Computer science engineering: 34190-48277
  • Electronics and communication engineering: 50374-73697
  • Electrical engineering: 26383-81392
  • Industrial and production engineering: 95921-166497
  • Information technology: 48286-60682
  • Mechanical Engineering: 56501-78513

So considering this you may get seat in Civil, ECE, EE, IPE, IT, ME.However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly.

And with such rank it is difficult to get seat in any GFTIs.It is better to prepare for JEE main April session and do well.

You may predict the colleges in which you may get by using our JEE main college predictor

Hello,

Categorical cutoff list is not given by the authorities. JEC accepts JEE main, REAP, RPET for admission of candidates in different branches. If you have a rank below 4-5k then you can get an admission here for sure. If you look for top rated branches like CSE ,ECE then your rank has to be more low so that it will satisfy the cutoff range of that particular stream.

Hope it helps!

Hello,
Barak engineering college became fucntional from 2017 with computer science engineering and electronics and telecommunication engineering departments. The campus is well equipped. It is yet to be expended more in the coming years to accomodate more depatments like civil, mechaniical ,elwctrical. Since the college is newly established so it becomes difficult to to say anything. Talking about jec then it is an established college. You will find each department has its own building along with the required labs. Each department has ampl e number of senior faculties . Coming to the p l a cements ,jec has good placement records. Looking for a job after graduation from jec would be easy. It entirely depends on your preferences. Go with jec if you seek a job after completting your gradduation.
good luck

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing well. Jabalpur Engineering College is the MP goverment college and is ranked at 3rd position in MP. Though it has a very good placements records for all other branches but as we know IP branch is not a very popular or preferred branch so it's placements are also not very high. It has an average number of placements with a very average package of 2-4lpa in IP branch.

Hope this helps

If any queries feel free to ask

All the best!!

Hello aspirant,

EWS category is introduced this year only by the government so it is quite difficult to tell you on the basis of EWS category that you will get the particular college or not. But I think your ews rank is still very low and so you are having less chances of getting admission in Jabalpur Engineering College as it has a little high cutoff. You should also try for some other colleges.

Hope this helps

Hello,
The closing ranks for cse and it, at jec for last year, were 51106 and 60340 respectively. Looking at that, you don't have a chance to get a seat at the above mentioned college.

Hi, Rizu.

The cee seats and admissions are considered eligible through the marks obtained in the cee exam.

The cutoff marks for the general category student for the top reputed colleges is 106

For backward category's it is 97

For scheduled caste and tribe it is 94 and 95

These are the minimum cutoff marks required to get the admissions into the jec and aec for a general  category student is 103 and 102 respectively,  so you can't be able to get into the colleges

Goodluck

Hello aspirant,

Jaipur engineering college is a very good college and admission in this college depends on various factors such as category, Home state quota, gender, class , branch selection, cutoff for last years, number of students applied, etc. So based on this you are having some chances of getting this college . Also if you are out of Rajasthan than you get reservation.

Hope this helps
