The college infrastructure is just one building. But the area is big since there are 2 grounds one for football and one for other sports.Turf is there.Carrom is there.Bcr and Gcr is there for relaxing.Labs are good in condition and has AC but some system don't work.Food is hygienic but there is nothing outside college to eat.
I am studying engineering because of the interest in computers and it's understanding.Quality of teaching is good enough as compared to other colleges and teachers are also good.Curriculum is updated since it's autonomous college hence it covers all subjects. The only college study never makes anyone job ready, hence have to work on extra courses and projects.
Quality of placement is neither good nor bad.65-70% students are placed almost every year.Highest package gone was 17LPA on campus for IT and average salary offered is 3-4 LPA by TCS,Accenture, etc.College placement cell helps but only during placement time and before it by training for aptitude and things.
Fees is 1,80,000 per year and is neither high nor low but depends on how students utilise it.
Campus is one building and a turf with football ground and other ground and a parking area where fests also takes place.Auditorioum is also big and many activities takes place there also.AC is there in labs.Students can join clubs and committees.Location of college is safe but sometimes in rainy season snakes appear.
The college is goood and infrastructure is also well as compared to other Colleges, but it has only one building so whole day spending in one building becomes Little boring.Classroms are good and well maintained and has wifi, smart board also. All are well maintained in condition.Food is also hygienic and living spaces is also clean.
I am studying IT because of my interest in it.Quality of teaching has been moderate in this college with some teachers been excellent but some only cover syllabus.Curriculum is as per Autonomous College so it depends on college which subject to take and what syllabus to take. For being job ready student have to do more study other than college.
Placement at this college is moderate.65-70% students gets placed while some go for masters , some don't study further and go for business Average package is 4LPA approx and highest went for IT which is 17.5LPA. College is pleasent and helps in placement purpose related things.
According to me this college is moderate as per the fee it takes, the fees is 1,82,000 approx per year.
College life is calm and pleasant. It has grounds, carrom, smartboards, wifi, library all things required for a particular college but negative point here is sometimes wifi dont work, sometimes library becomes full, sometimes grass not cutted in ground ,etc.College is near to chunabhati station and is safe.
College has normal infrastructure suitable for studies. Classrooms are normaln and has basic things like smart board, good benches, etc. The library has enough books for all subjects, but it becomes crowded sometimes so there is no place to sit and study. Sports facilities are there like TableTennis,Carrom,Ground for other activities. One big advantage is that college is in highway so noise free. The canteen area is clean, but there are not many good food option.
I am studying science because it helps in understanding the knowledge of technology. Teaching is not so good. The syllabus almost follows Mumbai University. However, to stay updated with current trends, students need to do extra learning through internships, certifications, and online courses.
Placements at this college is medium. Many companies like Tata, Accenture etc visit the campus. The average package is around ₹4.5 LPA, while the highest package gone on campus is ₹14 LPA for IT branch.college provides guidance and training for interviews
The annual fees keeps changing per batch, for our batch fees was approximately ₹1.80 lakh per year. I feel the college offers moderate to good value for money.
Campus life is enjoyable. There are many cultural events and fests happening all year.I was also there in one commitee.Students are friendly and active. Teachers are good. The college is located in a safe area with very easy transport connectivity.
College has normal infrastructure. Classrooms are normal and has basic things like smart board, good benches, etc. The library has books, but there is no place to sit and study sometimes. Sports facilities are like TableTennis,Carrom,Ground for cricket, football, etc. College is located on Highway so there is no noise of regular traffic. The canteen area is good but not much variety.
I am studying science because it helps to make the world advanced. Teaching is okay okay. The syllabus is of own college since ot is autonomous, but it is not completely updated with latest trends. To stay updated, all students need to do extra learning through outside college
Placements is medium.Small to medium companies like tcs, wipro, accenture visit the campus but companies like amazon don't so don't expect much. The average package is around ₹4-4.5 LPA, while the highest package gone on campus is ₹12 LPA for IT .
The fees for our batch fees is approximately ₹1.80 lakh per year. I feel the college don't offer much as compared to fees
Okish campus an open canteen is good the fest is organised well
Not very great college experience
My college has good infrastructure with well-maintained classrooms, advanced labs, a spacious library, sports facilities, and campus Wi-Fi. Most equipment meets academic needs and creates a comfortable learning environment, though some labs need upgrades..
I am studying engineering here because of its structured curriculum. Teaching quality is good and supportive. The syllabus is mostly updated and covers recent developments, with scope for more practical exposure.3
Placements here are decent. Many students (~65-75%) get offers, with average packages around ₹6-7 LPA and top packages up to ~₹13 LPA. Support from the placement team helps, but results vary by subject and prep effort.
My course costs around ₹2 lakh per year. Considering the infrastructure, academics, and placement support, I feel it offers decent value for money, though more industry exposure would make it even better.
Campus life is lively and enjoyable with cultural fests, technical events, and student clubs. The environment is friendly and diverse, making it easy to learn, socialize, and grow beyond academics.
College has normal infrastructure. Classrooms are normal and has basic things like smart board, whiteboard, bgood benches. The library has books for all subjects, but is crowded sometimes. Sports facilities are there like Carrom, 2 Grounds for activities like cricket, football, volleyball etc. The canteen is clean
I am studying science because it helps in understanding the computer deeply. Teaching is good. The college follows thoer own syllabus since it is autonomous. However, students need to do extra learning
Placements at this college is not worthy and not promising.Companies like TCS,INFOSYS,etc visit for job giving opportunity. The average package is 4-4.5 LPA, while the highest package is 13 LPA toook by IT branch.
The annual fees is approximately ₹1.80 lakh per year. The college offers good value for money since there are 2 big grounds and other sports facilities also and campus is moderate.
Campus life is not very enjoyable. There are not much events happening all year and festivals are not celebrated only navratri celebration has started now from last year.Students are friendly, Teachers are good and staff is also good. The college is located in a good area with easy transportation to come from station
College has good infrastructure like furniture, boards, benches, etc are well maintained.Classrooms are good in condition. The library is good a d has good seating arrangement but major missing is AC in library. Sports facilities are also good for the peoples who are interested in sports. The canteen is clean.
I am studying engineering in IT because it helps in understanding the Technical things in more depth. Teaching is varied by Teacher to teacher and depends on students perspective. The college has their own syllabus since it is autonomous college and hence has important subjects like OS,IOT,Ml, etc.
Placements at this college is not promising according to me since only 55-60% students gets placed here.Companies like TCS, Accenture Infosys, etc visit but big companies don't. The average package goes around 4 LPA, while the highest package is 13.5 LPA for IT.
The annual fees is ₹1.82 lakh .The college offers good value for money according to me since it has good infrastructure and library and grounds are well maintained.
Campus life is not good but students are good here and are helpful.Seniors are also helpful.Events like tech fests , hackathon keeps happening but sports events happen once or twice in a year and festivas are not celebrated in college. Teachers are good here. The college is located nearby station hence easy to travel.
The infrastructure of the college is so peaceful The greenery around college makes our heart smile . The cleanliness and hygiene of the college is very impressive. Students love ro visit college everyday
The staff and faculty of the college are very understanding and cooperative . Our doubts are cleared very properly. The labs and classrooms have very informative boards about the respective subjects.&
The placements of college is very good. Anecdotal feedback (e.g., on community forums) indicates attendance and classroom engagement can be somewhat lax or inconsistent in some streams, though this varies by course and teacher.
The college has one main building and has 2 ground aread and a volleyball area along with turf. The campus is large enough to roam around.Library is there with well amount of books.Wifi is also there.Certain classes have smartboards but don't work sometimes hence waste if time in lecture.Food provided in canteen is limited but is hygienic.
I am studying engineering because of career opportunities in it.Quality of teaching here is well enough for college level but not enough for job level since it depends in students also.Curriculum is based on autonomous college and includes subjects related to recent developments like ML,AI etc.The college studies itself doesn't make job ready.
Quality of placement is neither good nor bad, depends on student to student.65-70% students gets placed as hear by seniors and passouts.Highest salary offcampus went to 29LPA and on campus was 13LPA to IT student.Average package is 3LPA approximately. As heard by passouts the college conducts training rounds, Aptitude rounds before placement to practice.
Cost is 1,80,000 per year. This fees is almost similar to all private colleges. The fees feel worthy if utilised properly.I don't think money is waste here but it is neither good also.
College campus has 2 big grounds,A turf,Boys common room,Girls common room,Labs for all departments, Vollyball net.It has clubs, committees which students can join and be a part of.It has NSS club which gives you certificate which helps for further studies. All students and teachers and staff are good and cooperative.Location is safe and near from station to reach by.Negative point is just that it has 1 building in which lift sometimes don't work and also there are not much food options near by college.
The infrastructure of the college is average to poor. Almost everything is inside one building, which makes the campus feel congested. Classrooms have smartboards and whiteboards so they are good. Many computers in the labs are outdated and slow. The library is there and is quiet and good and has all books available. Wi-Fi often stops working. The canteen is clean, but options are very limited.
I chose Information Technology because of career opportunities. Teaching quality depends on teacher to teacher, some are good but some just teach theory. There is very little focus on real-world applications. Lab sessions are routine based. The syllabus is as per MU almost but does not perfectly prepare students for current industry requirements.
Placements are not reliable. Only around 65% students get placed every year. Most companies like TCS,Infosys, etc visit but good companies are limited, with average placement like 4 LPA while higher package is 13 LPA to IT student. The placement process as heard by seniors is basic and students have to do hardwork on their own for finding job.
The yearly fees is around 1.80 lakh per year, which feels high considering the placement results.expected better facilities and stronger career support.
Campus life is restricted since campus is not very big. There are no festival celebration and fest happens once in a year which is good. Student engagement is there in clubs, committee, etc. The area is safe and easy to travel since it is nearby chunabhati station and has waking distance
You have tagged K j Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology So I am telling placement details about the same Institute below. However it is quite difficult to tell only about one branch so I am mentioning overall details:
Hello Aspirant. You mentioned your percentile but didn't mention your caste. So, I assume you belong to General category and I will try to give an answer based on that. Moreover, it would be better if you would have mentioned your CRL-AIR or Category Rank in the query as the
