I would suggest you to go for KGEC. KGEC is better than JGEC in terms of placements. Its a government college and so, by the end of 4 years placement happens but the most of the teaching staff are worthless and a lot of encouraging things must be involved for the students to be motivated in the competitive world.

As per your marks your rank will be between 976-1151.And according to previous year cutoff you will surely get seat in jadavpur in all the branches under state quota.In kalyani and KGEC also you will get admission in all the branches but under state quota.Congrates and All the best.you may visit the link for all the ranking and cutoff off all the colleges.

It is one of the best colleges of West bengal.As the cut off is high .
As you are from Jharkhand ,You might face issues with domicile .As this is state engineering college.
But if you will score less than 10 k rank then you might get this college.

Eligibility Criteria -
For B.Tech - Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent exam from any recognized board with individually pass in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. For Lateral Entry: The candidate must pass Diploma in Engineering / Technology from an AICTE approved institution with at least 45% (40% for SC / ST / OBC-A / OBC-B / PwD) marks or equivalent CGPA.
For MCA - Candidate must have passed 3-years Bachelor degree program from UGC recognized University with at least 60% in Honours/Aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidates) or AICTE recognized BCA from any University/Institute along with 60% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in Mathematics at the Bachelor’s level.
Candidates have to also secure at least 60% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in Secondary and Higher Secondary or equivalent level from recognized Boards with at least 60% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in Mathematics at each level.
For M.Tech - A candidate seeking admission to M.Tech Courses should have passed B.E./B.Tech or equivalent examination approved by the AICTE in appropriate branch with at least 55% marks in the aggregate. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories will get relaxation as per the norms of State Government

JELET Entrance Exam is conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board, The admission to second year (3rd semester) of four year engineering & technology and pharmacy degree courses offered by participating institutes in West Bengal.
It would be difficult to provide you the cutoff rank as officially there is no any information available about it.
