Our college is a christian minority institution. Good faculties with industrial experience. Students are given Good academic knowledge. We are allowed to participate in the Zonal sports meet of the Anna University affliated colleges. I must also admit that there are some drawbacks in my college such as less number of industrial visits, placement training. But it has always been a very good institution for students from rural areas and for the downtrodden .

very good infrastructure facility with good class rooms and teaching faculty. There are good placement classes in the college. There should be more industrial visit provided so that the student will know more about the technology.it will be better if the hostels are provided with even more facilities. And the students will feel comforatable in the environment they live.the teaching faculties are very good .The will be workshops conducted in order to improve the knowledge skill. There are even guest lectures conducted inorder to have deep knowledge about the subject.

I for one encountering an extraordinary intuitive environment with great companions and we have an awesome personnel who are a great deal more intelligent after even after their classes. They continue pushing in accomplishing fancied goals. We have great framework also.We have all around experienced staff with phD holders.College, which has every one of the offices required for one, to enhance himself in general execution. It has most productive and experienced Board of Directors. The staff in the school is so care taking and eager in helping understudies. Environment, you involvement in the school is World class. It has set up in year 1964, finishing 50 years in the field of Research and instructive administrations. Positions are OK and attractive. One of the best schools in India for MBA.

Bad Infrastructure and Accessibility

The road to Loyola Institute of Technology is not constructed; it is in a very bad condition. The college has huge grounds and the college building and interiors are not appealing. Overall it looks like just another college on NH4. Labs have much non-functional equipment which are neither replaced nor repaired.

Good College but hostel not up to the mark.

Hostels are decent, just a notch above the mark which would classify it as bad. The tiny rooms are shared by 3 people. Toilets, which at times are a major factor while deciding on the hostels, are bad. Many of the doors don’t have knobs so you better be prepared to sing while you attend the nature's call.

Impressive Faculty

The faculty is impressive; at least they have made an impression on the students. The faculty is not too friendly, nor too strict. They get along well with the students. We are even taken for an industrial visit during their course, although it is just a day visit.

High discipline and values.

lament about how only the 1st years get a PT period and they don’t. Yes if it reminds you of your school then you know what you are in for at Loyola. Formal clothing is very strictly governed by some of the rules like light coloured shirts should be worn along with dark coloured trousers only. Since it is an institute which is governed by the sister of DMI, discipline and values are paid high attention.

Very Strict attendance Norms otherwise a good college.

Attendance is quite strict, as per the Anna University norms you are supposed to maintain your attendance above 75%. Now a deterrent to bunk - the college imposes a fine on attendance falling below 75%. And if the attendance falls below 65% then the defaulter is detained.

Difficult to adjust.

Posted on 26 Oct' 15 by RAJNEESH SINGH RAWAT
Batch of Jan. 1, 2014
One third of the students are from outside the city and consequently hostel dwellers. These students are from the South Indians states only. The rest are from the suburbs of Chennai. Loyola does have a few North Indian students too, who initially find it difficult to adjust here but later they mingle well with the locals. If you are from a liberal school of thought then you might find it difficult to adjust to the environment here.

Good for CS and IT only.

Batch of Jan. 1, 2014 | B.Tech Information Technology
Don’t confuse Loyola Institute of Technology (LIT) with the Loyola-ICAM, both of them are run by different managements and are not related in any way. You should think of taking admission here, if at all, only CS or IT. Only IT companies visit the campus. Most of the core branch students have to find their placements off campus. No help provided by the college.
