SRM Provides scholarships on below basis

1-Top 100 rankers in B.Tech Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE)
2- Top State rankers in school final
3- Top rankers in JEE
4- Top rankers in each district of Tamilnadu
5- Exemplary Sports persons at National and International level

This Scholarship has two categories:

SRMJEEE Rank 101 to 500-  75% waiver of tuition fee and SRMJEEE Rank 501 to 1000-  50% waiver of tuition fee.

As both the colleges are good for the same, and if you are getting admission in main campus of VIT/SRM then you can choose anyone of them as per your interest, choice, potential and convenience.

In SRM there is cutoff rank revealed than marks so to make it better understand you can check the previous SRM cutoff of different branches and get to know your chances.

Both the colleges are good but comparatively Manipal is bit expensive. And as per Careers360 ranking both have got AAAA+.

Note :- As both the campuses are good, so I would suggest you to choose the campus as per your interest and as per the branch.

You should try to get more than 200 marks out of 315  in SRMJEEE to get Mechanical branch in SRM main campus (SRM, Kattankulathur).
