As both the colleges are good for the same, and if you are getting admission in main campus of VIT/SRM then you can choose anyone of them as per your interest, choice, potential and convenience.

SRM conducts his own entrance exam to take admission. You have to appear for entrance exam in order to take admission.

which college has upper hand in studies and placement in mechanical branch between srm and manipal.
