In SRM University the course fees for B.Tech Mechanical Engg ranges form Rs 1,50,000 to  Rs 2,50,000 per year and it depends on the campus you choose.For Chennnai main campus(Kattankulathur) the fee is Rs 2,50,000,  for Vadapalani campus it is Rs 1,80,000 and for Ramapuram campus it is Rs 1,75,000.Apart from this, you will have to pay a non-refundable and non-transferable amount of Rs 10,000 during your admission as registration fee.

I would like to inform you that when you go for the counselling they'll give you a date before which you can withdraw if you don't wish to take admission then they'll refund you the money after deducting the counselling fee but if you withdraw after the stipulated date no money would be refunded.

Yes , you can get admission in SRM kattankalathur campus since you have a very good SRMJEE rank. Aggregate score will be given a consideration but primarily they'll look on to your SRMJEE rank only and based on that seats will be provided.

In NCR campus of SRM, the college doesn't offer you specialisation in a particular field of CS branch. If you are ok with it and can do by your own from coaching institutes, then it is well and good.

But if you want specialization, you can go for GLA university in Mathura. It is better than NCR colleges.
