The Institute has founded the Departments of Informatics, Business Administration & Trade and Education. The Computer Science Department is offering a three-year BCA programme. Rest it all depends on the branch you want to pursue. The above colleges are categorised on the basis of their course structure and placement records. Rest if you have any doubts you can ask. Hope this was helpful. Talking of Chandigarh University, the Highest package was of 31.7LPA and average package is of 14LPA. Total offers it bagged was 6314. Choose the branch and college accordingly.

In todays date, both newer and old IIITs are rising steadily in field of Information Technology. You should always remember one day even the Top 5 IITs were new, but most of the distinguished and world famous alumini belong to that time. Secondly IIITs whether old or new, have a structured curriculum at par with IITs and NITs besides providing good infrastructure and facilities.
