The college was established in 2008. MCET, Hyderabad is a private university affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad. The college offers various courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level. MCET, Hyderabad UG courses include BE Artificial intelligence and Data Science, BE Computer Science and Engineering, BE Electronics and Communication Engineering, BE Mechanical Engineering, BE Electrical and Electronics Engineering, BE Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and BE Civil Engineering. 

For MCET, Hyderabad UG admissions candidates must have passed class 12th with at least 50% marks from a recognised board also valid score in TS EAMCET conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad. All the courses are offered in full time mode only. The college also provides Postgraduate courses to the students. MCET, Hyderabad PG courses include ME CAD CAM Engineering, ME Computer Science and Engineering, ME Embedded System and VLSI Design and MBA. 

MCET, Hyderabad PG admissions are offered to candidates who must hold a BE Degree irrespective of the subject, from a recognised board and valid score in GATE, TS PGECET and TSICET.
