Mount Zion College of Engineering and Technology, Pudukkottai Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The students can avail rooms with A/Cs at a nominal, Wi-Fi providing high-speed internet access and access to central computing, Television has also been provided for Recreation purposes at the Hostels, Doctors are available to take care of the health needs of the hostel students.

The college has a girl’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The students can avail rooms with A/Cs at a nominal, Wi-Fi providing high-speed internet access and access to the central computing, Television has also been provided for Recreation purposes at the Hostels, Doctors are available to take care of the health needs of the hostel students.

The College Wi-Fi facility is used for the student and faculty members to avail of internet connection at any place in the college and hostel.

The College Library has developed an excellent collection of the latest as well as old volumes, 165 journals comprising of National and International titles and 45 Technical & Non-Technical Magazines. It also has a collection of over 1000 resource Compact Discs, and Video Cassettes under various titles.  The library is also a member of the IEEE and DELNET. Each year, on an average of 3500 volumes are added to the collection and a large cache of e-book available to the students from the college Intranet. These e-books can be used any time at the will of the students. To improve the English knowledge of the students, a rich collection of English literature is made available. The reading room of the library is spacious, well illuminated and can accommodate many students.                                       

The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The Campus Dining Services provides meals for the Hostels, a Hygienic mess with a modern kitchen provides high-quality vegetarian food based on the menu prepared by the students, Non- vegetarian food is also provided on request.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The College computer lab is up-to-date in all respects. Students are given unfettered freedom to experiment and learn in the lab. The college is the first in the region to have a completely Wi-Fi campus. All academics areas, workshops, hostels, and playgrounds are covered. This allows the students to have all the information they need at their fingertips.

The College has Dumbbells, Cables and Pulleys, Pull-up Bar, Leg Press, and Hack squat Machines, Abdominal bench, and Leg abductions.

The college has sports facilities for all students. Well - laid Courts for Basketball, Ball badminton, Football field, Kabaddi, Kho Kho, Volleyball, 400mts Standard Athletic track,Volleyball, Multipurpose Indoor Stadium for Badminton, Chess.

The college has the Banks/ATM facilities for all students. TMB has a fully-fledged branch with the core banking network on our college campus. Mount Zion has a tie-up with Corporation Bank. Students will be provided co-branded debit cards for their use.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The College buses ply from Melur, Karambakkudi, Pattukkottai, Karaikudi, Tirupatur, Devakottai, Ponnamaravathi, Gandarvakkottai, Aranthangi, Alangudi, Pudukkottai, Sivagangai City, Trichy etc.
