Hi,
Well if you are waitlisted then atleast you have a chance to get considered for the MBA program. Cause many students didn't get selected at all and can't pursue the program. But if already selected students decide not to take admission and then leave their allocated seats then the waitlisted students like you will get the opportunity to take admission.
I hope this helps.
All the best.
Hello Aspirant,
This year the NMAT cutoff for top MBA institutes have increased a bit. For NMIMS Mumbai, a very safe scaled score would be 240-250+,it is anyways based on the number of seats and number of applicants. . However, you have scored pretty well. Sectional scores should be more than 75 to have a good chance to get call from NMIMS,Mumbai,so as you have scored above 75 in all 3 sections , I would say there is a very decent chance for you to get selected for next round. Therefore, start preparing for group discussion and interview round ,because you performance in that will decide your final selection, if you do really well in these rounds, there is very god possibility to get final admission.
In case you do not get in NMIMS ,Mumbai, you will get in other campuses for sure.

Hello Aspirant,
It is true that cutoffs will be higher than last year for top MBA institutes. But your NMAT score is pretty good ,so surely get in good colleges. The possibilities may depend on the the MBA branch you opt for ,the number of seats available and number of applicants in colleges. Talking about NMIMS ,they may ask for 75 and above in all 3 sections ,so in that case your chances may be little low. Anyways you can sure apply and perform well in case discussion and personal interview rounds to improve your chances.

Hello,
Based on previous years trend, the sectional cutoff of NMAT in NMIMS Mumbai is:
So, in order to clear the cut off you need to score marks over 210-220. Then only, you will be eligible for the next rounds of selection that is Case Discussion and Personal Interview Round.
So, after clearing the cut off you need to perform well in the CD and PI round to secure a seat in NIIMS.
Hope it helps!

Hello Aspirant,
The NMAT percentile required for NMIMS, Mumbai is 94 and for NMIMS,Bangalore it is 91. As far as the scores are concerned , if you have a score around 220-230 then the chances will be high to get admission in NMIMS as this is the expected score range. Your score of 216 is also good , so you can apply and try , because cutoffs may vary based on number of applicants and number of seats, so you may have a fair chance.

hi,
as per previous years cutoff analysis of different NMIMs including mumbai, bangalore hyderabd cutoff score for quants ranges from 60-65 approximately. however every year cutoff score changes, depends on questions difficulty level, seat matrix etc. but it seems would quite difficult to shortlisted if you go through previous years cutoff trends. but never mind, there is others colleges available in which you may also try for mba course apart from nmims. so donot lose hope and also try for others entrances as well.
now coming to percentile score it is based on individual candidates score to the overall performance of the participants, number of participants in any particular exam, For example, if a aspirants NMAT percentile score is 90, then that aspirants total NMAT score is better than 90 per cent of the aspirants.
Dear Aspirant,
as per the previous years cutoff the chances for you to get a seat at KJ Somaiya Institute of Management is less, however there are various other colleges where you are eligible to get a seat for admission, some of them are,

its pretty good but we don have campus so that’s frustrating but the classes are v good with smartboards and air conditioners and even charging plugs. the wifi is bad af, it doesn’t for our campus even tho we are ai kids
good infrastructure, we have centralized ac everywhere which doesnt work sometimes. we have 8 lifts and 2 entrances, 4 lifts for each entrance. The cafeteria is on the lower ground floor which provides exceptionally tasty food. Must try: Chole Bhature.
A college's infrastructure significantly impacts your academic journey. Look for spacious, well-equipped classrooms and relevant lab facilities. A well-stocked library with study spaces and research tools is essential. If living on campus, consider dorm options, room amenities, and overall safety. Explore the presence of computer labs, an auditorium, sports facilities, and healthcare resources. Finally, evaluate campus maintenance, eco-friendliness, Wi-Fi connectivity, and the overall positive and stimulating environment.
