The Library of NIST has set a vision to satisfy the reader community needs. The college central library is located at the main block in the campus. It contains 18,644 volumes of books and 1996 titles. The Library subscribes to national Journals, leading international E-journals database, Magazines, News Papers, back volumes of journals and CD ROMs. Books are classified and arranged according to the Universal Decimal classification scheme.

The Department of Physical Education is equipped with both indoor and outdoor facilities for the students both men and women to take part in individual and group activities of different tournaments. Ground facilities for all outdoor games like Volley Ball, Ball Badminton, Kabaddi, Cricket and Football, a Separate hall for Chess and Carrom.

The college has the state-of-the-art facilities for various laboratories.

Canteen is located within the campus to cater to faculty, staff and students at subsidized rates. You get south Indian, North Indian and Chinese food.
