NSI Kanpur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

There are three major hostel blocks on the NSI Kanpur campus, namely, R.C. Srivastava, S.C. Roy, and J.M. Saha. Each hostel block has a dining facility, a common television room, and separate computer rooms equipped with internet access.

At NSI Kanpur a separate, safe facility is provided to female students and women visitors. Although the hostel can accommodate only a small number of students, it offers a safe and pollution-free environment along with a separate dining facility and high-quality housekeeping services.

The Gymkhana committee is in charge of an indoor stadium for badminton, table tennis, and carrom. The common basketball court, individual volleyball courts for each hostel, and a large cricket/football playground serve as the outdoor facilities.

 The state-of-the-art computer centre can accommodate the latest generation i-series processors and National Knowledge Network (NKN)-based high-speed optical fibre internet. Besides this, it has specialised Auto, CAD and Language Lab facilities.

The NSI Kanpur has a seminar hall for academic and cultural events. These halls, which are equipped with modern audio-visual systems for national-level seminars, are situated at the centre of the campus.

Ultra-modern labs for Physical Chemistry, biology, biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Sugar Technology meet the requirements of the most advanced research. The first of its kind, the "Experimental Sugar Factory" (with a capacity of 100 tonnes) imparts priceless, hands-on industrial training to the students.
