Nishitha College of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College Library has about 30,000 books, in addition there are a number of journals and technical magazines which enable the students to improve their General knowledge in the area of specialization. The library also stocks a number of subject CD's. There is a facility for the students to borrow a CD or get it copied at a nominal price. Internet facility are also provided in the library, with a provision that they are used strictly for Academic purposes.

The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students.

The institution is always prepared to attend to all the medical emergencies that may arise. The facilities include a medical room, staff trained in first aid, and first aid facilities in all departmental staff rooms.

The college has established a high-speed campus-wide network that connects all its departments consisting 1000 systems. A fully distributed computing environment based on clusters of workstations and PCs provides the staff and students ready access to computing resources, services software and applications. The environment is tailored to the specific teaching/learning needs of each department. Full access is provided to email, the Internet, departmental Intranets and other online sources of services and information through leased line Internet connectivity of 10 mbps.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The institution has provided hostel facilities both for boy students outside the campus at a nearby place. One staff member is nominated as hostel warden to look in to the needs of the students in the hostels on daily basis. The hostel is supervised by the principal of the institution in terms of quality of food, infrastructure facilities and other needs of the students. As on now 80 boy students are accommodated in boys hostel. There is a separate hostel manager who interacts with the students in the preparation of food items every day. Breakfast, Lunch, evening snacks and dinner is provided for all the boarding students, both for boys on festivals and other important occasions, special items are also served to the students.

The institution has provided hostel facilities both for Girl students outside the campus at a nearby place. One staff member is nominated as hostel warden to look in to the needs of the students in the hostels on daily basis. The hostel is supervised by the principal of the institution in terms of quality of food, infrastructure facilities and other needs of the students. As on 60 girl students are accommodated in girls hostel. There is a separate hostel manager who interacts with the students in the preparation of food items every day. Breakfast, Lunch, evening snacks and dinner is provided for all the boarding students, girls and on festivals and other important occasions, special items are also served to the students.

The college has the Banks/ATM facilities for all students.
