The college has a Gents hostel spread over a total area of 22,000 sq. ft. It has 88 rooms which can accommodate 3 students per room. The rooms are furnished with cots, cupboards, and other furniture. It has a computer center with 66 computers and 2 servers. Internet facility is also available. The gymnasium is also part of the hostel amenities for those students interested in staying fit; it has facilities for weightlifting, powerlifting, and a hydraulic station. In fact, the hostels are so well equipped that they also provide a Yoga center allowing students to practice yoga asanas and breathing exercises.

The college has a Lady's hostel is spread over a total area of 26,730 sq ft having 96 rooms that can accommodate 3 persons per room. The lady's hostel has a separate dining hall, other than the college mess hall with a total area of 11,000 sq ft. It has an STD/ISD facility, a specially equipped fitness center, and a computer center that has 30 computers, and 2 servers with the internet. Game courts like basketball, kho-kho, throwball, Tennicoit, Shuttle, and Kabadi are also available. A yoga center with a capacity to accommodate 70 persons is also available.

One of the major highlights of The Panimalar Institute of Technology is its 2239 sq.m. air-conditioned central library that has a seating capacity of 136. It has about 23659 volumes and 5980 titles of books that value around Rs. 1.44 Crores. In addition, to which, the library also subscribes to 130 International and National journals and periodicals. In this fully automated library, students and staff members can search for books by author, title, or subject heading and their availability. Each student is given 5 library books at a time and they have allocated library hours/week. The Panimalar Library is an institutional member of prestigious libraries such as the British Council Library and Indest Consortium, AICTE Delhi.
