Priyadarshini Engineering College, Vellore Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college provides a hostel facility to the boy students. The college has three hostel blocks for men which can accommodate more than 750 students. A separate library, reading room and shop are located in the boys' hostel.

Priyadarshini Engineering College provides a separate hostel facility for the girl students. The college has three hostel blocks for women, in all accommodating more than 400 students. A separate dining hall is also available in the girls' hostel, which has a seating capacity of approximately 100 students.

The college has a clinic which provides first aid facilities and other medical assistance to the students and staff members during the time of medical emergency. 

PEC Vellore has a fully air-conditioned gym which is equipped with various modern exercise equipment and machines. Students can use the gym facility to maintain the proper balanced lifestyle.

Priyadarshini Engineering College has a central library which has a rich collection of books, national and international journals, magazines, and newspapers. The books are classified and arranged according to the UDC scheme. The college library has an institutional membership with DELNET, NDL, and NPTEL access. The college also has multiple departmental libraries. The library has a fully computerised automated system for the transaction of books and other reading materials. The Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) is available in the college library.

PEC Vellore provides various indoor and outdoor games and sports facilities to the students on the college campus. It has several game equipment such as cricket, badminton, football and others.

PEC Vellore has a computer centre which is a central facility providing computing support to the students, faculty and research staff for academic and office automation purposes. The computer centre has more than 1300 computers to provide computing facilities and Internet services. The Computer Centre provides system administration and technical support which includes software installation, network monitoring, Internet connection and a digital library. The Centre supports an institute-wide fibre optic network and wireless that connects all the academic departments, hostels and library to the computer centre.

The college has a canteen which serves healthy and nutritious food and snacks to the staff members and the students at reasonable prices. The cafeteria maintains proper hygine while preparing foods.

Priyadarshini Engineering College has an auditorium and seminar halls where a number of formal and informal events of the college take place throughout the year. Students and members can use the auditorium facility to organise many events.

The college has a fleet of various Buses, Vans and Cars which helps the staff members and the students to commute from one place to another place.
