The Library has a rich collection of books on Engineering and Technology including Automobile Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Besides, the library also has a good collection of books in the areas of Humanities and Sciences. The library is fully Air-Conditioned. The digital library is well stocked with various CDs that have an audio-visual presentation on technical concepts. Digital Library of College has a good collection of E-Books, E-Journals, and other digitized materials for the members. Internet browsing and E-services are provided by the library for its users. The library has a good reference collection consisting of various Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Yearbooks, Atlases, Biographies of the national and international coverage, and other reference books. Sufficient reading tables and chairs are provided to the members.

It is passionate to see the holistic growth of students in every act that we do. In sports, physical coordination & strength and character building are two sides of the coin. College, department of physical Education takes every effort in training students as true sportsmen by character and talent. The sportsmen winning in sports and in life are moments of pride for the college. A sport is commonly defined as an athletic activity or skill and involves a degree of competition, such as Volleyball, Badminton, Football, Cricket, kho-kho, Handball, Ball badminton, Throw ball, chess, carom, Table tennis, and Tennikoit. Students participate regularly in Divisional level and State Level Tournaments and have won laurels for College. Sports play a great in everyone’s busy life, especially for students. Sports are generally played as a contest between two competitive sides with the attempt to exceed others. Sports are necessary because it brings physical and mental fitness to the person involved in this on a regular basis. Being involved in sports activities benefits a person in many ways. It does not provide only physical strength however it increases mental power too. Outdoor sports such as football, cricket, volleyball, hockey, running, etc help in improving physical health and mental fitness. However, some indoor games and sports like brain games, chess, Carrom, Table tennis, etc improve mental power and concentration level.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The College Alumni Association was started on 30TH April 1977 under the dynamic leadership of professor late M.M.Rahman former principal of this prestigious institution and followed by the successive patron member of this alumni association Thiru T.Ramadass, Thiru R.J.Kumar, and Tmt R.Amutha. This Association is a function RPG campus. Thiru N.K. Parameswaran former HOD of civil Engg, also a first batch student of this institution (1960-1963)was the first president and followed by the successor Thiru M.K. Sekar, Thiru Nagarajan, Thiru C.N.Chandrasekaran, Thiru K.Logasan, Thiru S.Arunachalam, Thiru T.Rajasekaran, and Thiru D.Rajendiran held the president post.

The College boasts of sophisticated and world-class Lab facilities that make the learning process thoroughly meaningful and productive for the student. A laboratory informally, the lab is a facility that provides controlled conditions in which scientific research, experiments, and measurement may be performed. In the institution, we are having laboratories department-wise as per the requirement of the University. As per the syllabus of the university, the lab experiments will be provided to the student. Laboratory tests are the most crucial aspect of modern innovation where tests are carried out on specimens in order to obtain information about the result by following the think, implement, execute and result.

Student’s co-operative stores The College students co-operative stores were established in the year 1960 and it is registered under Tamilnadu co-operative department (NO.VG20). It is located on the first floor of the administrative building in the polytechnic college. The stores directly purchase all the stationery items, engineering instruments, and uniform cloth at the source and sell the same to the students at a very low price, thus serving the poor and downtrodden student’s community.

A full-fledged Transport department functions in the college with buses to provide transport facility to students and staff from various places. This service is offered to ensure hassle-free and safe transportation. The College runs 1 bus for providing transport facilities to students from various places. The number of buses will be increased corresponding to the increase in the intake of students.
