There is a warden and a staff in charge of each hostel who look after the discipline and well-being of the hostel inmates. Boys' hostels have separate mess facilities.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure for the students. The Department is well facilitated with 440 PCs along with Software with Internet connectivity for the students to conduct all their curriculum experiments and also Project Works.

The Renganayagi Varatharaj College of Engineering Alumni Association was inaugurated in 2015 with the first batch of graduates from this college as members.

The college has a Bank/ATM Facility. For the benefit of students, staff, and the local public, a branch of Bank of India with an ATM facility has been inaugurated by the Honorable Shri. Pranab Mukerji, Union Finance Minister on the campus through video conferencing. This serves the banking needs of the students.
