RTCIT has a boys hostel with catering services at affordable prices and a cozy and comfortable environment. Primary facilities such as electricity, water, and washroom facilities are also available. RTCIT Ranchi also has a separate girls hostel with all the necessary facilities such as spacious and comfortable rooms, with water, electricity, and washroom facilities. The mess provides nutritious, healthy, and affordable meals to the students. Security guards and wardens are also available for the students.

The institute has a well-established hospital that is mandated by medical officers and healthcare assistants. These facilities provide first aid and necessary healthcare facilities to the students. In case of emergency the students are taken to a nearby hospital which is located 5 km from the institute.

RTCIT Ranchi has a well-equipped advanced library with over 17,000 books, national and international journals, magazines and other reading materials. The library provides a calm and peaceful environment and is spread across 500 sq to accommodate a large number of students. The library also has digital access with a large number of e-books. Learning resources such as DELNET, NPTEL, and ORACLE are also available.
