The College has excellent separate Hostel facilities for boys. The hostel in a separate spacious and airy 3-storied building is located within the college campus. The College has a girls' hostel, run by the college, though not located within the college campus, which is just 6 KM away from the college on the Trichy-Viralimali national highway. The hostel can accommodate 250 students. The available facilities are: well-ventilated, well-lighted rooms and spacious rooms with cots, tables, chairs, and fans. The college library spreads over a vast area of 802 sqm. The ground floor is the area to store the books, and it contains the reading section. The first floor is exclusively allocated for the digital section and the reference section. The College Central Library is a vast storehouse of books with over 52296 volumes and more than 300 regularly subscribed journals. This includes foreign IEEE and ASME Online journals. More books are being added to the main library every year.

The college has sports facilities for all students like Table Tennis, Chess, Basketball Court, Tennis Court, Football Field, Volleyball Court, Badminton Court, Kabaddi Court, Cricket Ground(Turf Wicket), etc..

The College has been designed with a Full-duplex Gigabit Ethernet backbone offering an aggregate bandwidth of 10 Gbps between different Switches using Single-mode fiber. All the switches are linked through OFC.

The Training and Placement Cell is an interface between the Corporate world and the students of SCE. It enables the students to make better and informed career choices. The Placement Cell invites industries to share their knowledge and experience with students through guest lectures, workshops, presentations, and informal get-togethers. The Placement Cell also organizes the placement process, including Summer training and Final placements. The Cell manages and facilitates on-campus recruitment processes, including pre-placement presentations by potential employers to highlight the issues, expectations, and professional opportunities unique to the company and industry. Students of SCE have been placed in Domestic, Global, and Public Sector Firms. The Training and Placement Cell takes care of the Campus Connect Programme.

Campus Connect is an Infosys Initiative. It is an Industry-Academic collaboration Program aimed at aligning the engineering students' skills to meet the industry needs. Infosys would be sharing with our college its training methodology, courseware, student projects, and other such learning resources used for their Foundation Program, which has been developed, practiced, and perfected by them over the last several years. This will help to improve the quality and the employability of the students in the Indian IT enterprises & Organizations where SCE students are placed.
