Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, Mumbai has a dispensary that takes care of the medical needs of the students and faculty members. For any medical emergencies, the dispensary has a qualified doctor and nursing staff on hand.

SPIT library has subscribed to IEEE ASPP (All Society Periodicals Package). The library is also a member of the ACM digital library. NPTEL online lectures of eminent personalities from various IITs are provided by the library and are accessible to users via the intranet.

Facilities for sports such as cricket, volleyball, football, table tennis, and other sports are available at Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, Mumbai. At the university level, SPIT Mumbai has a strong presence of cricket and basketball teams.
