Singareni Collieries Polytechnic, Mancherial was set up in 2008 and it is affiliated college located in Telangana, India . This is a diploma awarding institution that was approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. The polytechnic is on a large piece of land measuring 74.4 acres total student enrolment is 820 and faculty 16. The institute has five full-time diploma courses, which take 3 years each, and are in the fields of Mining, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Computer Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Keeping this objective in mind that, the institution is dedicated to provide technical education to its students to fulfil the requirements of the modern engineering world, Singareni Collieries Polytechnic was established.

Singareni Collieries Polytechnic boasts of offering a full package of the amenities that will improve learning to the learners. The campus provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls with Mess facilities, adequate, clean, and hygienically providing quality maintained meals. In light with the students and the community’s overall health, the college has put up a health centre, complete with first aid. The institute has a rich library facility with a collection of 6,380 books in one thousand, eight hundred and sixty six volumes, as well as having subscriptions to print and e-journal both. Students can also borrow DVDs and VCDs on many engineering and management related topics. The open access system and the provision of night studying also give a leisured image to the students to read and do research work.
