Sri Mahalakshmi Polytechnic College, Cuddalore Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college facility in the hostel college provides excellent hostel facilities for the students with Cot, Marble flooring, and a Good ventilation facility. After college hours snacks will be given and they can play any games till 6.00 pm Study hours will be conducted for the hostel students from 6.00 pm to 7.30 pm every day. A separate study hall is provided for the students during the study hours. Students must have their Dinner after study hours. Students will not be allowed to go on outings without the parent's permission students must inform the hostel warden one day before the outpass clearance. Computer systems will be provided for the 3rd year hostel students for their project work. Mess: Hostel students are provided with excellent mess facilities with good taste and quality food. College campus staff are cultivating vegetables that will be used for the mess and regular purchase of vegetables will be done so, that students will be provided with good and fresh vegetables. Weekly twice non-veg food will be provided for the students.

The college has a library facility for all students. The library has 72 seating capacity, a state-of-the-art digital library, an E-Learning Center, a Reference Section, a Circulation Counter, Journals/Magazines, and a Newspaper Section are also available. The Library holds a hybrid collection of printed as well as electronic resources which include books, journals, databases, audio-visuals, CDs/DVDs, e-books, e-journals, reports, course materials, previous years' question papers, Bound Volumes, Project Reports, etc.

The college, there are excellent sports facilities and students have brought many journals to college at the Inter Polytechnic Athletic Association (IPAA) Division level as well as at the State level. Every year, students will be selected by the committee members and the selected students will participate in IPAA–Division level and State level. In addition, we conduct the “Sri Mahalakshmi Educational Trust Sports Meet" among all our Institutions.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college campus has separate canteen facilities for the day scholars. Students can buy Food parcels from the canteen at a nominal fare.

The college has a transport facility for students and staff. The college plans eight buses for the benefit of the students and staff. Bus services from, the college to Cuddalore, Chidambaram, vadalur, and Panruti and back are operated in the Morning and evening.

The college Alumni Association is functioning on the campus with all passed-out students as members. Alumni Association meetings are conducted periodically making 'get together of the old students which promote multi-faceted advantages like placement, guest lectures, soft skill programs among current students, etc.
