The SVCET College, Chittoor provides Hostel accommodation for Boys. The hostels are situated just 0.5km from college. Bus facility is available for students in between college and hostel. Boy’s hostel has presently 269 rooms and it is under expansion to cater to the increasing number of students seeking admission into the hostel. The students are encouraged to develop community life and inculcate the spirit of tolerance, thus taking care of their psychological and emotional problems and shape themselves to be better citizens. It is in this spirit and sense of direction that rules and regulations are framed carefully for the orderly and peaceful living, and to make the students Good Samaritans and leaders of tomorrow. The SVCET College, Chittoor provides Hostel accommodation for Girls. The hostels are situated just 0.5km from college. Bus facility is available for students in between college and hostel. The Girls hostel has 129 rooms that are equipped with necessary amenities. The students are encouraged to develop community life and inculcate the spirit of tolerance, thus taking care of their psychological and emotional problems and shape themselves to be better citizens. Good healthcare facilities are made available by a qualified and trained medical team comprising of a doctor and other paramedical staff, round the clock to attend to any student reporting sick. Now the management has also established a 350-bed multispecialty hospital adjacent to the college with all modern equipment and facilities. Ambulance services are available round the clock. Under same Management free medical and diagnosis checkup is provided to all teaching and non-teaching staff members in RVS hospitals.

SVCET has the newest facilities for students include Multi Gymnasium hall for (Men & women ). A central multi-facility piece of equipment enables several enthusiasts to work out at the same time in one of the gymnasia. The Gym is spacious and well equipped with modern facilities like 20 individual stations & 2 multi-stations.

The library has total books volumes of 49348 and 8223 titles, 132 national journals, and 74 international journals along with 34 magazines and 752 IEEE Online Journals. The students are encouraged to make full use of the library and other facilities.

The department of physical education is headed by Sri G B Reddy, Physical Director. The department has sufficient supporting staff to help the students and faculty members in using fitness, sports and games facilities. Management of SVCET, Chittoor has identified Sports and Games is the priority area for budget allocation and development from the inception of College. We, the Management, Principal, Staff, and Students of SVCET, Chittoor believe that a healthy and agile mind is the stepping stones of Sports and Games development. The Management of SVCET, Chittoor every year organizing Sports Fest in the name of “SELESTA” a National level corrival youth Festival.
