Placements: According to the information I got, they have to look for internship opportunities on their own. Placements are more easily available for the students

If we are talking about which is better SIT or NIT then NIT is far better than SIT. NIT requires good score in JEE whereas SIT as it's own entrance exam . If we miss JEE score we can opt for SIT. SIT also has good infrastructure, facilities ,etc. If

SIT Pune don't release specific cutoff for any branch. You have to appear physically during counselling. You have to ask with college administration directly. You can go for this as placement scenario is quite decent as the college claims.
