Hello Ssp,
Considering the both, I would say both are private college of almost the same status.
Campus wise, SIT Pune has a better campus.
But Bharati Vidyapeeth on the other hand is a DEEMED University ans is even accredited A+ by the NAAC. This gives Bharati Vidyapeeth an edge over SIT Pune.
Rest it all depends on you.
Thanks.
Hello aspirant,
You need 110+ to get into CSE and 95+ to get into IT.Kindly, check the link I attach.

Hope this finds helpful...ALL THE BEST!!!
Dear student,
Due to the pandemic situation, it may vary because cutoff is decided based on students coming for conselling day. So according to me for 2020 the cut off for CS may be around 80-90 and for IT it can be near 70
Please note that I am not giving any absolute numbers for this year. It is just my estimation.
Hope this helps.
So let us walk past each and every aspect one by one:
History
- Fergusson College was established way back in 1885 and Bal Gangadhar Tilak was one of the founding members of the college. It has also contributed men to the freedom struggle and has a lot of history and prestige attached to it. On the other hand, Symbiosis was established in 1970s and recently completed its 50 years of operation. So a lot less prestige and definitely a lot less history than Fergusson!
Infrastructure
- Fergusson Colleges, like many old colleges is built in an area of 65 acres. It has a lot of new and old buildings and departments. On the other hand, Symbiosis like every recent college is not so big. So guys and gals, looking out for some quality campus life, watch out! Yes, it has big canteens than Fergusson but lacks in restaurants nearby.
Sports-
Fergusson has a lot of indoor and oudoor complexes whereas Symbiosis lacks on that heavily!
Alumni-
125 years of prestige and alumni base is what Fergusson offers, whereas Symbiosis being newer has its own cons.
Decision is yours.

Hey,
When it comes to the engineering then the MIT Pune has a upper hand. Quality of education and the other opportunities in MIT are better. Also the placement is excellent in MIT where around 150+ companies visit per year for campus placement.
MIT Pune
MIT Pune is the first Private Engineering college in Maharashtra established in 1983. As it's among the first very few engineering colleges, it had a very good rank considering the merit and is among the Top 10 colleges in Maharashtra. The cutoffs here are in the range of 160–168 out of 200 in CET for the mechanical stream. It also has the three unique streams Polymer, Petroleum and Petrochemical which are Autonomous. So if one wants to get admitted into engineering college MIT can be a good option considering its beautiful campus which is amongst the best in Pune and it's perfect location. MIT also has a sister college which offers management programs but as far as I know symboisis will be better choice for MBA.
Symbiosis Pune
Symboisis is an Autonomous institute which offers the best MBA program. Its amongst the top in India. Symboisis is a group comprising of total 46 colleges and mostly it's more towards management. Recently it founded Symboisis Institute of Technology in 2008(I came to new about this college while writing this answer). So if you are concerned with the engineering symboisis institute as it's a new college not much high considering merit. I am not saying it's a bad college but if you have a good merit there are many other reputed colleges for engineering which you can opt. If you are talking about Symboisis for management it's the best in India.
Hope it helps you.
ere are the average and highest placement offers at these colleges
ALL THE BEST
The college has great infrastructure facilities. It has big classrooms. It has a computer lab. The college has two conference room and it also has a common auditorium. The college has a cafeteria for the students. It also have a big playground.
The college has decent in infrastructure, though it could be improved to better match the academic reputation it has small college infrastructure structure compared to other universities in Symbiosis universitie
The infrastructure of the institute is excellent. The classrooms are spacious and labs are well-equipped with technology. Across the campus, hygiene standards are maintained ensuring a clean and healthy environment. Moreover, the faculty in the institute are not only experts in the field but also dedicated educators and provide invaluable guidance and mentorship. Their approachability and encouragement helps explore ideas freely.
