As far as KIIT is concerned the placements here is good. Almost every  student gets placed however they salary may not be as much as it will be in Symbiosis in Computer Science & Information Technology and descent for E&TC and mechanical.  SIT Pune holds an average package

Coming to your question,the previous year's cutoff for SIT Pune was:

• for CSE: 110+
• for IT:85+

So you might not get cse/it but you could surely try for mechanical/civil/electronics and communication.
