hi,
SITEEE 2020 is an engineering entrance examination for admission to Symbiosis Institute of Technology. Earlier, examination was known to as SET, the question pattern is as follows,
physics 25
chemistry 25
mathematics 50.
however out of 100 82 is a decent score. however cutoff score changes every year and depends on certain factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix , your choice of engineering streams etc. however participate in the counselling process and see whats come around.
hope you may understand.
Hey Aryan. There are a total of 60 seats for cse in SIT out of which some seats are reserved. Let us assume that there will be only 30 seats for general category students in cse after deducting the reserved seats. You have not mentioned the rank and with your marks it will be difficult to say anything for sure but if your rank is below 100 in general merit list you have high chances of getting called for 1st round of counselling for cse branch.
Hello,
Preference should be 1. Placement, 2. academic. 3. faculty 4. Accommodation 5. infrastructure.
In Btech, most important thing is what you learn in 3 years. What knowledge/skill you have so that you can show them to get a job option in 4rth year. A college option with bad placement will make you struggle for years to get a job through offcampus or walk-in.
when college provides good placement then it needs to be you who has to be skilled enough to crack the exam/interview. to be capable enough you have to get trained by the teachers. Interview asks questions from your academic subjects(technical round), written test (aptitude. verbal and logical), group discussion, Managerial round and HR round. Those are all based on skill.
out of all academic is important. so do as per academic-placement.
Hope it helps!
Hello Aspirant,
If you have to choose an option from SIT, Pune and MPSTME, Mumbai than I would prefer you to go for MPSTME, Mumbai because MPSTME is a college of NMIMS, Mumbai which is very well known istitute in Mumbai. Not only this according to reviews of students or alumni of MPSTME, it provides great exposure to placement training sessions, if you want to go with B.Tech in CSE then there is very good placement scenario especially for CS branch students.
In both the colleges quality education is provided, with experienced faculty, but if you are placement oriented and even CS branch is placement oriented, so you should go for MPSTME, Mumbai.

Good Luck!!
Hey Duggaraju
As far as KIIT is concerned the placements here is good. Almost every student gets placed however they salary may not be as much as it will be in Symbiosis in Computer Science & Information Technology and descent for E&TC and mechanical. SIT Pune holds an average package of 8 to 10 Lacs per annum.
In KIIT Various good companies like Deloite, Infosys, Amazon, etc come for the interviews. The campus provides 100 percent placement for cse course.
At the end of the day the choice is yours. Both are equally good but if you ask me- Symbiosis is better for the ones with talent and hardworking attitude whereas kiit is good even if you are not the best of the best.
Dear aspirant,
Hope you are doing well.
Coming to your question, the previous year's cutoff for SIT Pune was:
So you might not get cse/it but you could surely try for mechanical/civil/electronics and communication.
Good luck!

Good Luck.
Hello,
MIT Pune is better that PICT, Symbiosis, and Bharti Vidyapeeth for B.tech . There are several parameters for my above mentioned line.
Around 150 Companies visit this campus for placements. Academics is according to Industry standards and Faculty is also very experienced. There is strict discipline related to attendance and uniform. You need to maintain 75% attendance and there are two formal days where you need to wear the given Uniform. People are also very good.
In comparison to other three i would suggest MIT Pune seeing its academics, placement and crowd for B.tech Courses.

Fergusson College is a legacy. It was established in 1980s and Bal Gangadhar tilak was among the founders of the institution. On the other hand, Symbiosis is relatively newer and not so eminent. So it may have better infrastructure. Yet Fergusson college is definitely better than it in all other terms.
The truth is almost all the private institutes are the same.
It totally depends on you which college you prefer taking into account the fees (it’ huge) and the distance from your home(trust me it matters).
Placements are good at KIIT but the crowd is huge , you will get placed somewhere for sure but the package won’t be big.Only few excellent students bag packages above 10lakhs per annum.
As per MHRD, KIIT have a better ranking. But I think Symbiosis Pune is a better option
The college has great infrastructure facilities. It has big classrooms. It has a computer lab. The college has two conference room and it also has a common auditorium. The college has a cafeteria for the students. It also have a big playground.
The college has decent in infrastructure, though it could be improved to better match the academic reputation it has small college infrastructure structure compared to other universities in Symbiosis universitie
The infrastructure of the institute is excellent. The classrooms are spacious and labs are well-equipped with technology. Across the campus, hygiene standards are maintained ensuring a clean and healthy environment. Moreover, the faculty in the institute are not only experts in the field but also dedicated educators and provide invaluable guidance and mentorship. Their approachability and encouragement helps explore ideas freely.
