You can simply flaot the allotted collegd and participate in further rounds of counselling.
With this you can get better course or college at third round counselling.

Maybe the colleges which you applied for had the closing ranks less than your rank. That's the probable reason for you not being alloted a college.
You can still try for the second round of counseling.
Yes you are eligible for direct second year lateral admission into VIT pune for diploma aggregate marks.
Under SC category cutoff near 75%, however can drop tgis year as well.
So keep hopes high and you do have decentchances of conversion into IT stream.

I think, you should choose VIT Pune rather than VIIT becoz it is not main branch

VIIT Pune has a good placement record as compared to Karad Govt College. Top MNCs and companies recruit from VIIT. You can go for it.

- Hes an Nt Category student
- ObC/Sc respectively
- He can get mechanical,CS and ECE easily with this rank.

College Infrastructure
The college fabric is were excellent and good enough for the students who come from many different states to study this college and also the attract to the students by their different facilities and good facilities
Vibrant campus, solid academics, decent placements.

The library is well-stocked, though it could use more seating during peak hours. Labs are equipped with updated tech, perfect for hands-on learning, but some equipment needs faster maintenance. Wi-Fi is reliable across most areas, a big plus for research and assignments.

The college has s well developed as facilitated infrastructure the college has a tennis court with a large group with everywhere greenery covered with trees the college has a good night labrotory with all regularly used equipment and a well peaceful corridor the college has a wifi connection for learning purpose
