Viswajyothi College of Engineering and Technology (VJCET) is one of the reputed colleges of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University that specialises in several engineering and management disciplines. Viswajyothi College of Engineering and Technology admission process requirements for admission to B.Tech courses would include 10+2 from any recognised board, with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. Most of these courses require 50% marks in the qualifying examination. A student will be considered for the postgraduate course if he/she has a bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognised university.

For B.Tech programmes:

  • Qualify the KEAM examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Government of Kerala.
  • Apply via the KEAM official application process.
  • Wait for the KEAM declared results and rank list.
  • Lastly, take part in the centralised allotment process made by the Kerala government.
  • Then, if a seat is allotted to you at VJCET, verify the documents and complete admission formalities at the college.

For the MBA programme:

  • Sit for the CAT, CMAT, or KMAT exam.
  • Thereafter, apply directly to VJCET using the score gained in any of these exams.
  • For candidates shortlisted, Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be conducted.
  • Final selection would be made from the aggregate score of undergraduate marks, entrance exams, GDS, and PIS.

For M.Tech courses:

  • Pass the GATE examination.
  • Apply directly to VJCET using the GATE score.
  • Shortlisted candidates may be called for further tests or interviews.
  • Final selection will be based on the GATE score and performance in the additional tests/interviews, if conducted.

The national-level entrance examinations will be considered and accepted for admission to the postgraduate programmes, including M.Tech programmes, which will take GATE scores, and CAT/CMAT/KMAT scores for MBA programmes.

For the MBA at VJCET, the consideration for admission is based on CAT, CMAT, or KMAT results. The programme selects new intakes by forming a merit list computed based on the composite score from undergraduate marks, entrance exam scores, group discussions, and personal interviews. There are 60 permissible intakes for the programme.
