Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies ( VIPS) is located in Pitampura, New Delhi .It is a private college, affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. This college provides many courses.

BJMC ( Bachelor of Journalism and Mass communication ) is a good course here. This course is of 3 years. The fees for this whole course is around 2.64 lakhs.

Despite from it, the infrastructure of this college is good. But the placements are not so good. Even in BJMC course the placements are less.

I would like to tell you that as the cut off score for BJMC in IP university varies from different factors such as categories - General, SC,ST,OBC as well as area wise - Delhi, Outside Delhi etc, if you let me know in which category and area are you seeking admission in I will be able to help you properly. The cut off for Delhi General category for Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies went 1486 for the second shift and for Vivekanand Institute of Professional Studies for General Delhi category went to 968 last year (2019). VIPS, JIMS and MAIT all of these are considered to be one of the top colleges in BJMC.

So try to get admission in JIMS but if you have more handsome rank in CET then you must go for VIPS which is considered the best among all three. All the best for it.

I want to highlight some point comparing these three colleges.

• JIMS provides one of the best placement in media.
• MAIT is more famous for management courses rather than media courses.
• VIPS is academically good with decent faculties. Their infrastructure is way better than other colleges. Also, they have a high placement record in previous years.

So, in a nutshell if you get the opportunity to hold a seat in VIPS, just go for it.

You can keep JIMS and MAIT as your plan B.

Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that IP University is a state governed university so there is a reservation of 85% for Delhi students. Also, the cutoffs vary on the basis of category such as General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, PwD, Defence Quota. Assuming you are Delhi general category student, you have fairly good chances of getting VIPS or MAIMS based on the previous year cutoffs. I'll sugguest you to join VIPS, Delhi. I suggest you to visit the college once and meet with some faculties, then you'll get a clear idea. Talking abot NMIMS Indore, it's a newly established college its Mumbai campuses are nice but i can't really say about Indore because it's new. Also if you take admission in Delhi then you will get the advantage of location as Supreme Court is in Delhi.

According to web data and results based on student reviews , NIRF Rankings and Placements stats is  quite better in Delhi Technological University compared to Maharaja Agrasen Institute . Let know some details about colleges .

Delhi Technological University

It is a Public/Government Institute and have UGC Approval , Courses offered here is Btech , MBA ,mtech e.t.c. It have good NIRF Rankings , Good facilities available and 252 students rated 4.4/5 for this Institute .

Maharaja Agrasen Institute

It is a Private college and affiliated to university , Courses offered here is btech and MBA , Good facilities but only Boys have hostel and 282 Students rated 3.7/5 for this Institute .

Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that based on previous year ranks of IPU, you have got decent chances of getting admission into VIPS BBA 1st shift. However, if not then 2nd shift of BBA is also a good option as VIPS holds great recognition among the companies. Many companies visit the campus for placements and the profiles offered to the students are process associate, business development executive, HR executive. The faculty and course curriculum of VIPS is also one of the best among other IP University colleges.

Judging from last year's cut off trends, Yes, it is very possible for you to get into VIPS and MAIT, if not in the first list then surely in the subsequent 2nd or 3rd lists (keep in mind they usually have spot counselling at the end as well so that is another chance)

Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that VIPS requires you to have 5846 rank for BA LLB and 8515 rank for BBA LLB. Considering the cutoffs, the chances are quite less as there is a decent margin between the cutoff required and your rank obtained. However, there are other IPU colleges which you can look for in this rank.
