The cut off for admission in any of the NLUs last year closed at a rank of around 1600. As this is the first time IPU would accept admission based on CLAT scores there are no previous year trends to look up to for a fair estimate. But as there are around 1900 seats offered by IPU in total and 85% if which are reserved for Delhi Candidates so only around 300 seats would be left for All India students. Also VIPS is the second most preferred law college under IPU, with a rank od 23000 chances seem less. Chances are more for the lower ranked colleges in IPU. There Aren't much chances for VIPs. Do try in the counselling.
This is only an estimate and the actual cut off may vary according to factors like the number of Delhi domiciled candidates ranked above you etc.

You have less chances to get it in first 3 rounds but I would say to go for spot round because at that place you ll be preferred as you have a higher rank.
Hello tushar, you have scored less marks in CLAT 2019, according to your score in CLAT 2019 ,their is no chances for you to get seat in Vivekanand institute of professional studies for BA LLB or BBA LLB.
As the cutoff is very high for VIPS, pitampura, Delhi, so, their is less chances for you to get seat in VIPS, you can try in other Law colleges. According to your score in CLAT 2019,your rank would be around 12,500.

Given the high cut offs this year you can expect USLLS cut off rank to be in the range of 600-800 for BBA LLB however it may be even leser if delhi general candidates with leeser rank than the above mentioned rank opt USSLS over RMLNLU and RGNLU.

Which degree out of these 2 colleges would hold value would totally depend on the Career Preference that you have. If you want to go into litigation ( practice as a lawyer in courts), or for judiciary/ UPSC, or go for teaching or go abroad then let me tell you, that the name of the college in the degree will have no affect in that whatsoever. But if you're looking for a corporate practice in future and dependent on the college for placements then the college might matter. Both the colleges VIPS and Jamia have a long list of advocates, firms, organisation under which students have been placed. But the personal opinion of students from the colleges differ that the placements are more as per personal contacts instead of the college's placement cell. So these colleges might not be the best in terms of corporate law. Both colleges are located in delhi with a good exposure as district courts, high court, supreme court, various law firms being in the same city.
But the factors you should consider while deciding are the difference in fees in the two, your convenience related to travel, attendance etc. Also that USLLS is preferred more than VIPS from colleges under IPU so there will be better exposure there instead of in VIPs. And it seems that Jamia does have a better edge in this term from VIPS.

Hello student,
VIPS in an established institutes and among the top under IP University. It is based in Delhi and hence it has a great locational advantage in terms of internships and placements with District courts, high court, supreme court, and many good law firms and lawyers in the same city. Colleges like VIPS etc are doing better than these lower Tier NLUs and you cant expect the same for NLU Sonepat. SO I would suggest you to not just dig the NLU tag and go for VIPS because as of now it is doing much better than lower NLUs.

Hello student I'm really sorry to inform you that with this Maks you can't get admission in top 2 nlu as we all know that seats are very limited and admission is directly based on category rank. But yes there's chances you'll get admission in 2nd or 3rd round if seats may go vacant just wait for counselling.

Considering your AIR and category status you have little chances of getting admission in USSLS. But you can definitely make it to other top law colleges of GGS IP University with strong merit and benefit of category. Following is the list of other good law colleges under IPU:
- Amity Law School, Noida
- Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies
- Ideal Institute of Management and Technology
- Fairfield Institute of Management and Technology
- JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus
These are predictions on the basis of analysis of clat merits, cutoffs and admission trends. There can be slight variations in the actual allotments.

The infrastructure of VIPS is good with a hygienic, green, and well-maintained campus. Library and computer labs are well-equipped and spacious, which create a great learning environment. All the classrooms are equipped with projectors to facilitate interactive learning.

College Infrastructure
This is one of the best college with one of the best infrastructure. The rooms are well maintained and clean. The rooms are fully air conditioned. The library is big enough and you’ll get almost every book you want from there.
