Xavier Institute of Polytechnic and Technology, Ranchi provides different facilities for the benefit of the students and staff. - Boys Hostel
The institute has a separate hostel for boys with well-furnished rooms. Hygienic mess service is provided for the students in the hostel.

- Library
The college library is located on the ground floor. The library is open to students and staff members from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on all working days. It has a rich collection of updated books, reference books, and national and international journals in all branches of Engineering, Science, Technology, Management, and General Studies, and the collection is ever-increasing. The books are classified according to the Dewey Decimal Classification Scheme. An open-access system is followed in the library. The library receives Journals on a regular basis, Newsletters from the following organizations and societies, and provides the staff and students latest Information in technical education, research, and development activities.
- Sports
The college has its own playground, badminton cot, and basketball cot which the student uses indiscriminately to let off the strain of the very demanding student life at XIPT. Sports provide a break from the rigor of intensive study and help the student to get into a good spirit.

College Infrastructure
The infrastructure of college is so good and the building is huge and attractive. It has a beautiful greenery environment. Have great space for parking both two wheeler and four wheeler. Workshop is well equipped that focuses especially on techniques and skills in a particular field. Workshops are important for knowledge sharing, skill development and innovations. The living spaces are clean and the mess food is so hygienic.
