XISS Ranchi Course Admission 2024 - Fees, Date, Cutoff & Eligibility

Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi offers admission to postgraduate programmes. Before applying for admission, candidates are required to meet the XISS Ranchi eligibility criteria. XISS Ranchi PG admissions are entrance based. For XISS Ranchi PGDM admission, candidates have to appear for CAT/XAT/CMAT followed by group discussion/extempore and personal interview. As per the XISS Ranchi admission process, the final selection of candidates is done after the performance in the entrance examination, group discussion and a personal interview. Later, to complete the XISS Ranchi admission 2023, candidates need to get their documents verified and pay the course fees. 

XISS Ranchi Application Process

• Register through a valid email ID.

• Then, OTP will be sent to the registered email id for verification.

• Enter the necessary details and academic records.

• Upload a passport-size photograph along with the required documents.

• Pay the XISS Ranchi application fee through Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card.

• Submit the XISS Ranchi application form.

• Take a printout of the application form for future reference. 

XISS Ranchi PG Admissions

Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi offers four postgraduate programmes. XISS Ranchi courses at the PG level include P.G.D.M Rural Management, P.G.D.M Human Resource Management, P.G.D.M Marketing Management and P.G.D.M Financial Management. The duration of XISS Ranchi PGDM courses is 2 years. The XISS Ranchi PG eligibility criteria is that candidates should have passed a bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in any discipline from a recognised university.

XISS Ranchi PGDM Admission Process

• First, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for XISS Ranchi PGDM admission.

• Candidates are required to appear for the entrance exam- CAT/XAT/CMAT and obtain a valid score. 

• The institute accepts only online registrations. 

• The candidate, however, has the option of opting for two programmes through one application. In the application form, they appear as Programme Preference I and Programme Preference II. 

• Shortlisted candidates, who clear the cutoff and the above-mentioned all-India entrance test score, will be called for the group discussion/extempore and personal interview either through online/offline modes. 

• Then, the final selection of candidates is done based on past academic record (20% weightage), performance in entrance tests (40% weightage), performance in group discussion (10% weightage), performance in the personal interview (25% weightage) and extracurricular and diversity (5% weightage).

• However, 50% of the seats will be filled up by candidates applying with CAT and or XAT scores and the other 50% will be filled up with candidates applying through CMAT scores. 

• Candidates who are selected for XISS Ranchi PG admission need to visit the campus.
