I got 38.53 score in cmat. Which college should I apply?? Is XISS Ranchi is good

Hello aspirant,

XISS Ranchi is an average college for mba program. You can go for it as it has low fees structure and good infrastructure and faculty. But you cannot expect a very high placement package.
Also at a percentile of 38 in cmat you can look for admission into following colleges:-

Adarsh Institute of Management And Information Technology - AIMIT Bangalore
Apeejay School of Management, Dwarka, New Delhi
GIBS Business School - GIBS Bangalore
National School of Business

Chances of converting xiss at 74.9 percentile in cmat?

The minimum CMAT percentile required for XISS Ranchi is 73 for Human Resources Management and 50 for Rural, Marketing, Financial and IT Management. You can definitely get a call from from XISS for any of the branches you opt. Unlike other colleges XISS doesn't have their first year syllabus as common. Once you take admission for a certain branch you'll study that only from the very first year. The interviews and GD processes are also conducted separately for different branches. Your final selection will entirely depend on your performance in the GD/PI rounds which will be soon conducted in the month of February. For Human Resources Management the competition is usually very tough as students getting 99 percentile also appear for the interviews, so you'll have to perform exceptionally well considering your CMAT scores. And for the other branches you can have good chances of getting selected.

The final selection depends on the following factors along with the weightage assigned to them

Entrance exam scores =40%
Academic Record =20%
GD=5%
PI =30%
Writing assessment =5%

If you're targeting XISS then you must go either for Human Resources Management or Rural Management. The average package offered this year for Human Resources is 9 and that for Rural Management is 6-7. The other departments have an average compensation package of 3-4 lakhs.

To get into XISS Ranchi through XAT exam scores the expected minimum XAT percentile cutoff according to the different PGDM courses offered are:

•PGDM (Finance)-

General Catergory:50%ile

Reserved Catergory: 30%ile

•PGDM (Human Resource Management)-

General Catergory: 60%ile

Reserved Catergory: 40%ile

•PGDM (Rural Management)-

General Catergory:40%ile

Reserved Catergory: 25%ile

•PGDM (Marketing)-

General Catergory: 50%ile

Reserved Catergory: 30%ile

•PGDM (Information Technology)-

General Catergory:40%ile

Reserved Catergory: 25%ile

XISS Ranchi also accepts the CAT and CMAT scores for its admission process. On clearing the cutoffs the candidates will have to go through Group discussion and Personal Interview and perform well in them inorder to secure admission.

Shortlisting of candidates will be done in The first phase will be held in Ranchi during the February 2020. The second phase will be held during the March 2020 at New Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Guwahati and Ranchi between February 20th and March 8, 2020.

Based on the all India entrance test scores, candidates who have applied for admission to the institute will be shortlisted and will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) to be held in the 3rd and 4th week of Feb 2020 in the following locations:

At New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata in the 3rd week of February
At Ranchi in the fourth week of February 2020

What's the percentage of students get placements in xiss Ranchi??

XISS Ranchi is one of the premier B -Schools in India. XISS is always known for its placement records. On an average, Almost 80-85% students get placed every year. Well known and reputed companies like HDFC, ICICI, Wallmart etc. Come for recruitment which offers an average package of around 5.5 lakhs. XISS is popularly known for its ROI and the level of exposure it gives to the students. The highesr package was offered to batch of 2016-18, which was around 14 lakhs.

How is LBSITM INDORE.... Is it worth joining for pgdm......how are placements there and what is it's ranking??

Dear aspirant....!!

It is a very good institute regarding technology and management. Companies regarding placements come from the sectors like FMCG, Consulting, Engineering, IT, Market research and much more. There is avery good amount of students turnover in terms of placement.

Also the staff and the faculties are very supportive to the students. You can join for the PGDM program if you are thinking of joining it. The ranking of LBSITM in Indore is one of the best B-school as compare to others.

well according to me for MBA, jaipuria institute of management is the best compared to xiss ranchi because the faculty in the college or institute are highly qualified and distinguished .
also, there is worthy of education provided along with the bright enlightend concepts.

Which is better for HRM - XISS Ranchi OR XIME Bangalore?

HI,

XISS Ranchi offers better opportunity in HR streams with good package (average).XISS is popular for HR and RM specialosation

XISS is well known for PGDM in HR and provides relatively higher average 5 -5.5 LAKHS for HR students.

so for XISS_HR , its great .Rest not so.

Xime overall good , more or less choose one according , The only thing you get in xime blr which is better than xiss Ranchi is exposure!

College Infrastructure

Computer labs and Wi-Fi facilities are easily accessible which greatly helps us in projects and research. The canteen provides good quality food at reasonable prices and the college also provides sports and recreational facilities. In general, the place is vibrant and it creates a very conducive space for both academic and extracurricular activities.

I think the experience was good i learned the values .

It was good all type facilities like bench, dashboard, cleaniness, ac are proper working and it was maintained every year. I think in this era the main thing is cleaniness and that is the most important factor..as i see they take care about it..on daily basis they clean our toilets, classrooms, garden areas, parking. And the security guard was available so that any bad things can't happen.. the there is a parking facilities are available in a discipline way. Hostels are cleans. Canteens are good

My College have all the facilities , All the classrooms have AC , we have sports centers like:- Basketball , cricket, we have smart boards as well yes, all boards are well maintained and the living spaces are also clean and food is also hygienic
